Mr and Mrs Moon is an interactive piece for 2-5 year olds featuring 3 actors and an on-stage musician. The children join Mr Moon and Sandy on a beautiful beach where they all build sandcastles together, when The Woman Who Lives In The Moon (an aerialist/actor/singer - yes there is upside down singing involved!) comes down to earth and invites everyone up to the moon for tea. The children go up to the moon, meet the moon robots and help restore order after a faulty Robot 2 lets the moon wind out. Mr Moon discovers that the moon is much better for building sand castles so decides to stay, and the children descend back down to earth with Sandy and Robot 2, who decides that earth would suit him much better actually.
The show is on at Stratford Circus in London from 7 December - 5 January and then is on tour in Mold, Canterbury and Peterborough. If anyone is around those areas and has a 2-5 year old to hand, come along!
Below are some photos of our first week of rehearsals.
